Basic Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Ability to think & work independently and meet necessary deadlines.
- Problem solving and trouble-shooting skills; creative thinking.
- Effective professional-level interaction with employees, customers and colleagues.
- PC proficient — must already know your way around a computer
- Real commercial experience with Audio Visual equipment, products, and systems is required.
- Must have a “clean” background. We regularly work in secure locations. Applicant will need to pass a background check.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License; have and continue to maintain a safe driving record.
Qualifications
- High School is required, with a formal higher education in Electronics preferred.
- 3 years’ experience with Audio Visual installation techniques, or field servicing.
- We are preferring industry certifications — Infocomm CTS, and manufacturers certification for AMX, Crestron, Extron…
- Solid experience in Commercial Audio Visual Experience. Installations for Projectors, Cabling, Control systems, Racks, Codecs, Amplifiers, Microphones
- Or, extensive experience in the AV residential field – home theaters, structured wiring, and Smart house designs.
- These are professional positions, for those who want to be in the professional level of the industry.
- Must be available for extended travel — short and long term — we have assignments all over… routinely must be available for travel 3 out of 4 weeks. Few installations require work over weekends.
- Must be able to: use hand tools & test equipment; know how to solder & crimp connections; pull cable; lift up to 75#, sometimes overhead; climb ladders / lifts to 35 feet+
